Playa Bledito

Playa Bledito is just west of the protected cove of Playa Cabo Real. Also known as Tequila Cove, this beach fronts the Hilton Los Cabos Beach and Golf Resort and Meliá Cabo Real hotels at Cabo Real.

The manmade breakwater makes swimming possible; with Jet Ski and Wave Runner rentals on the beach. For more solitude, walk southwest toward Las Ventanas al Paraiso, but swim only in the protected waters behind the breakwater. The Hilton also offers visitors a day pass allowing use of the pool and facilities, call (624) 145-6500 for current rates and more information. Access: Through the Hilton and Meliá Cabo Real hotels or enter through the arroyo at Kilometer 19.5.

The sprawling Cabo Real Resort encompasses miles of deserted beaches stretching from Meliá Los Cabos northeast to the Westin Regina Resort. Playa Bledito, also known as Tequila Cove, is in front of the Meliá Cabo Real hotel at Km. 19.5. The formidable man-made breakwater in front of the Meliá allows safe swimming and water-sports in the protected cove. Equipment rentals are nearby be-tween the hotel and palapa-dotted beach. You’ll find a casual ocean view restaurant open to the public just one level up from the beach at the hotel. To the east and west of Playa Bledito are miles of beach and desert to hike and explore. The beachfront throughout Cabo Real is excellent for beachcombing, jogging and horseback riding, but swimming can be dangerous anywhere other than Playa Bledito or Playa La Concha. Southwest of the Meliá Cabo Real, this once deserted strand is now fronted by the ocean finishing hole of the Robert Trent Jones II golf course, and the luxurious Las Ventanas al Paraiso, Casa del Mar Golf Resort and Spa and Dreams Los Cabos (formerly the Meliá Los Cabos Resort).
