					<description><![CDATA[We did a trip last year and went from DF -&#062; Oaxaca -&#062; Merida -&#062; Playa de Carmen -&#062; Tulum -&#062; Cancun.

Of these, my clear favourites as a food lover, were Oaxaca and Merida. Amazing moles, mezcal and cochinito al pibil.]]></description>

Mexico gets such a bad rap, and the best parts of Mexico are rarely visited or talked about. I&#039;d enjoy another post about the Pueblos Magicos. The ones I&#039;ve visited have been fantastic.

The best times in Mexico are totally accidental. Like the time we accidently locked our keys in a rented Volkswagen Beetle, and the whole village got involved trying to track down the one guy who knew how to break into cars. Finally found him in a local taverna.
